Fresh Fig Tart & Summer Produce

I had a great desire the other week to 1) make use of our amazing, fresh produce from the ranch and 2) to bake. These melded together when I made a Fig Tart with rosemary cornmeal crust filled with a mascarpone lemon cream... We have three trees that produce amazing, sweet green figs.

It turned out rather pretty, so I took a few photos.







Here is an extra photo of some other great produce we've collected as of late: Pomegranates, bell peppers, jalapenos, and tomatoes.

Those are beautiful photos, Kristen! I didn't know figs could be so colorful. You and Ryan and your photos of food!
