We took Cyanne to the zoo on the 16th of May. It was their annual "Princesses Day."
We arrived a wee late for most of the princess-y festivities but frankly, she's still a little young for most of it anyway.
We did get her to sit with the "Princess." As you can see, this was met with similar response to her trips to Santa et al...
I honestly think the girl felt badly about it but I kept telling her it wasn't her fault. Not only is Cyanne not a huge lap-sitter but she's also not yet one for costumes. I'm sure that will change.
Cyanne had a blast looking at all of the animals - she really loves going to the zoo now.
The big cats were all sleeping. She'd see them sleeping, point at them, and then do her sign for 'asleep' or 'sleeping.' Very cute.
She fed the pigs and goats with my Mom. She was braver than I sticking her little fingers through the wire fence. Those pigs and goats took it right out from her fingers! She'd look surprised but keep going back for more food to feed them.
She also had fun riding the little train at the zoo - the mini one... We decided we would come back and go on their 'real' train when the line wasn't so long!!
All in all - a fun outing to the zoo. Princess day and all.
