We took a big trip back east this summer to visit Tom's parents in Cooperstown, NY, for a week around the 4th of July. Nothing like Mom and apple pie (and baseball, fireworks, micro-brewed beer, swimming in the lake, picnics, and canoeing) to celebrate Independence Day!
Cyanne loved the baby animals at the Farmer's Museum, exploring the charming village in her stroller, searching for fish and frogs in the pond out back, and just goofing around in the yard. Not to mention reading in her favorite spot at Nanna and Grandpa's house, her own private nook in her bedroom in Daddy's old little red rocking chair:
On the Carousel at the Farmer's Museum. Her very first carousel ride!
Quality time with Grandpa.
Playing around in the yard. Cyanne had a lot of fun running around on the grass and blowing bubbles on the hillside with Daddy.
Feeding the ducks at Fly Creek with Nanna. Boy those ducks loved that corn!
Testing Nanna's flexibility! Cyanne was checking out a little stream that was running behind the wooden fence.
Our old friend Jay drove over from Boston to visit for a couple of days. Here we're at a restaurant - The Blue Mingo Grill - on the shores of Lake Otsego.
Kristen and Tom at the Ommegang brewery. Awww...
Hanging out on the front porch. A wonderful time was had by all. Thanks again for the warm hospitality, Nanna and Grandpa!
